  • Introduction

    As society demands greater credibility from accountants following economic development, the Code of Professional Ethics for Accountants in Practice is published, which provides further rules on the professional acts of accountants, enhancing the level of professional ethics, safeguarding the image of the profession. This course analyses the importance of professional ethics on the profession of accountants, explains the codes’ requirements, and how to abide by the professional code of ethics during the practice process. The course content includes:

    1.   Basic principles of code of ethics

    2.   Conceptual framework of solving ethical issues

    3.   Element of threats on basic principles

    4.   Preventive measures adopted against threats
