  • Introduction

    ‘International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS) 15 – Revenue from Contracts with Customers’ focuses on the recognition of revenue on perfomances obligations established between entities and customers, thus require entities to make more judgments and estimates regarding the actual point-in-time to recognize revenue. The content of this course aims to provide explanations using examples from listed companies’ financial statements as well as of those more complex transactions, particularly the associated revenue recognitions’ impact on entities’ financial statements, business processes and internal controls over financial reporting. This course covers primarily:

    • Sale and repurchase transactions
    • Sale and leaseback transactions
    • Bundled transactions with multiple performances obligations with real life examples
    • Examples of listed companies’ financial statements

    • Participants who have completed 1.5 course hours will receive an digital certificate of attendance issued jointly by CPC, ACCA and CPTTM. Participants who log in the online platform 15 minutes after course commencement (19:15) or those who log off the online platform before course conclusion (20:30) are perceived as absent and will not be issued a certificate of attendance.
