  • Introduction

    To improve the relevance of financial statements to users, more financial reporting standards require entities to measure assets, liabilities, and own equities at fair value, which makes fair value measurement becomes increasingly important. IFRS 13 Fair Value Measurement applies when another IFRS requires or permits fair value measurements, either in the primary statements themselves or in the notes. In this webinar, examples and cases will be used to demonstrate the following areas:

    • Scope of IFRS 13
    • Definition of fair value
    • Application to non-financial assets
    • Application to liabilities and an entity’s own equity instruments
    • Valuation techniques
    • The fair value hierarchy

    • Upon acceptance the enrollment, it is non-transferable. Organizer reserve the rights to cancel the training and amend the terms and conditions.
    • Participants who have completed 1.5 course hours will receive an digital certificate of attendance issued jointly by CPC, ACCA and CPTTM. Participants who log in the online platform 15 minutes after course commencement (19:15) or those who log off the online platform before course conclusion (20:30) are perceived as absent and will not be issued a certificate of attendance.
